QUALIFICATION OF SPECIAL PROCESSES

We intervene to control certain processes for which the implementation parameters may depend on the geometry of parts and/or the behaviour can only be verified after the event through destructive testing (examples: Surface treatment, Heat treatment, welding, etc.)

ANALYSIS OF THE CHEMICAL COMPOSITION OF METALLIC MATTER

  • Determining the grade on Iron matrix or other matrixes through electric spark spectrometry
  • Quantitative analysis of detected and quantifiable elements with scanning electron microscope
  • Carbon and sulphur assay
  • Nitrogen and oxygen assay
  • Hydrogen assay
  • Inclusion cleanliness ASTM E45 or NFA 04-106

 

 

MICROGRAPHY

  • Macrographic or micrographic observation
  • Micrographic observation revealing the microstructure

CORROSION ET VIEILLISSEMENT
